Data capture specialist MediaBase Direct showcased a range of business solutions to companies and entrepreneurs at the first-ever Venturefest South event. The packed event at Winchester Guildhall, Winchester, attracted 530 visitors, with MediaBase Direct exhibiting in a digital technology zone.
Anil Jain, the director at MediaBase Direct, attended with colleagues Daniel and Nathan Jain, Laurence Bohmer and Jordon Golding-Smith.
Two electronic data capture solutions for business were on display from the team, generating sales interest from a range of companies and organisations. The first is in smart visitor management. LEADR is the e-reception book which provides unlimited visitor check-ins, a fire and evacuation notification feature, an interactive dashboard and is compliant in data protection.
The second is an event companion app, called the iBeacon Companion App, which provides an ingenious way for companies to interact instantly with visitors to their show, using the customer’s mobile device proximity sensors.
Anil said: “We’ve had a lot of interest in our two featured solutions today at Venturefest South and this kind of technology shows why Great Britain is in one of the top three places in the world for innovation, above America, Germany and China. “Our applications provide real benefits to customers, helping turn footfall into sales.”
Such is the success of the inaugural Venturefest South, a second one is likely to be held in 2018. Attendees included tech innovators, entrepreneurs, researchers and investors.
